The Clydes used Tuesday and Wednesday  and  a variety of  transportation modes to get to San Diego. It was  a real caravan,  including a  Tundra (Blue Thunder),  RV(Measles), Tahoe, and an Explorer.  Eleven bicycles, 20 cases of wine, 3 guitars, and lots of expectations.  Eventually  we all met at Hotel Solomar in the Gaslight district of San Diegoin time for the Giants-Padres game.  Thanks  to Rizzy we enjoyed great seating and at times it seemed there were more Giants than Padres fans.  Our boy Timmy pitched a brilliant 7 innings and when some of us left it was 8 to 1 Giants , but wait it’s the Giants , the cardiac kids, and by the time it was over the tying run was at the plate.  But all’s well that ends well.  8-4 Giants

Off to dinner at a local fish place and back to the hotel to pack.  Accommodations  were great and the staff gave us a private room for the bikes and special parking for the trucks ( very cool).
