Day 55 more major mechanicals

Rizzy stands up and a spoke breaks and the rim cracks. Stan puts in one of the custom drive side spokes Dave at Bicycle Works in Napa made for us. Now both Rizzy and walt have cracked rear wheel rims. We off-load rizzy's panniers to walt and stan' bike to try to decrease the load on Rizzys rear wheel.

Day 55 last seminole settlement in FL?

We stop for a break and learn a little about one of the great seminole leaders in the early 1800's

Great breakfast....spinich and bacon quiche with fruit muffins and great coffee and juice. Thank you Brenda for the wonderful hospitality.

Day 54 the bunkhouse

You needed earplugs to sleep in this room and a stuff up noses would be a plus. Three clydes in a room might be two too many.

Day 54 sleeping arrangements

Rizzy gets the sweet suite. Oh yea he loved the canopy bed.

Day 54 repairs are over..time to ride

Scott and Laura along with Beauty insist on taking us to the Bobby boudin memorial at FSU then on to Earth Fare health food and finally getting us onto a wonderful shaded road out of town.

Day 54 Scott works his magic

All around fantastic guy, x-racer(crest team) and totally green guy recycling tubes and owns no car...bikes everywhere. Turns out when stan had a spoke replaced they left out a spacer in his cassette so the wobble was fixed. Then on to Walts bike with a cracked rim,  no rapid fixes for this but scott trues the rim.

Day 54 midway to greenville 62 miles hot hot hot

Big mechanicals. Walt's open pro rear rim is fracturing around one of the nipples and Stan's cassette appears to be coming apart. But Scott at Bicycle House has agreed to get up at 7 on memorial day and open the shop and try to fix us up.
